Next week we board Amtrak for a three day trip back to Virginia. Three days sitting in the cheap seats, no sleeper car, no stop overs. What were we thinking? Well that trip is for another post. For this post I’d like to put up some of my favorite photos from our travels over the last three months. This is the second of two posts.

Off Hwy 89 east of Kanab Utah, near Paria Canyon.

Best bike trail of the trip. Started just south of Elsinore Utah.

Stack of lugs in southern Utah.

Biker ready to jump into the night traffic. Salt Lake City

Two great kids. Malta Idaho.

The beautiful Salt Lake City public library from the inside.

Salt Lake City public library from the outside
Best campsite. Wild camping in Arizonia.

South bound from Page Arizona.
The color green, thanks to the Snake River. Idaho
Hamley’s of Pendleton Oregon, cowboy outfitters since 1883
HEY! are you looking at me? Zion National Park
I hope you enjoy the photos and thanks for following my blog.

  1. We sure have enjoyed your blogs immensely. The photos and writing have been outstanding. We almost feel like we are there with you at times.
Technology can be a pain at times, but it sure is nice to follow your lives almost as it happens. If you had to send all of your blog followers a letter and photos via the postal service it would be too costly and time consuming.
    Keep up the great writing.
